Look Back: Thai Snacks Review Video from the Past Years

Hey everyone! We’re excited to share with you a look back at some of the delicious Thai snacks we’ve tried over the years. It’s been an incredible journey exploring the unique and diverse flavors of Thailand, and today, we’re diving into one of our latest snack review videos. We’ve found some familiar treats, but we’ve also discovered new surprises along the way!

In this video, we’re currently in Thailand and couldn’t resist grabbing a few treats to try out. It’s always fun to learn about the snacks that people grew up with in different countries. If you’re like us, you enjoy discovering these hidden gems too! So let’s go over what we tried in this round of our snack-tasting adventure.

  • Koala March - Chocolate Flavor: These adorable koala-shaped chocolate biscuits were a fun start. We initially thought they might be from Australia, but they’re actually a popular Thai snack. The creamy chocolate filling inside the crunchy biscuits was a hit, and they reminded us of a perfect school lunchbox treat!

  • Tao Kae Noi - Spicy Seaweed Flavor: Next up, we tackled some spicy seaweed chips from Tao Kae Noi. The crying face on the packaging warned us of the spiciness, and though the heat wasn’t too intense, the flavor lingered just enough. If you’re a fan of seaweed and sushi-like flavors, this one’s for you.

  • Pipo - Gummy Grapes: These grape-flavored gummies by Pipo were soft, chewy, and bursting with flavor. They’re similar to Starburst candies but with a uniquely Thai twist. If you have a sweet tooth, these are a fun treat that’s easy to enjoy on the go.

  • Kit Kat - Green Tea Flavor: This is a Japanese treat, but we found it in Thailand and had to try it! The matcha flavor gave the classic Kit Kat a whole new twist. With its vibrant green color and smooth taste, it’s a unique snack for anyone who loves matcha or wants to try something different.

  • Snack Jack - Original Flavor: Snack Jack chips are made from green peas, offering a healthier alternative to traditional chips. Their texture is harder, and the taste is a bit like pea soup. It’s a unique snack experience, perfect for those who love savory flavors.

  • Glico Alfie - Milk and Strawberry Flavor: Finally, we wrapped up with Glico Alfie—a chocolate bar that’s half milk and half strawberry-flavored. The crunchy biscuit chunks inside added texture, and the taste reminded us of a strawberry milkshake. It’s a sweet and delightful treat for strawberry fans!

It’s been fun reflecting on all the different snacks we’ve tried over the years. Each taste test brings something new, and we’re excited to continue sharing more discoveries with you. We’ve been exploring not only Thai snacks but also authentic Thai dishes during our travels. If you have any restaurant or dish recommendations for us to try while we’re in Thailand, feel free to let us know in the comments!

Thank you for joining us on this journey, and stay tuned for more snack-tasting adventures from Thailand and beyond!
