After such a hectic day of shooting and running around, we were like —bas snacks chahiye. Proper Thai snacks. No breaks, full chaos, long day done… and the only solution was sitting down and opening random snacks from Thailand. Honestly, this is how most of our snack discoveries happen — we try things first, react honestly, and that’s exactly how we started building ThaiSnackOnline too.
If it’s good, we share it. If it’s not great… we don’t force it 😅
So here’s our real reaction to a full Thai snack taste test — some were AMAZING, some were risky choices.
🥭 Dehydrated Mango — Actually So Good
First snack and already a hit. Chewy, sweet, little tangy also — not that fake sugary taste.
Both of us were like: “This is genuinely good ya.” This is exactly the kind of fruit snack we love — simple, real fruit, but super addictive. ⭐ Rating: 8/10 Perfect anytime snack.
🍫 Chocolate Biscuit Sticks — Dangerous Level Addictive. Looks like Pocky but the chocolate is inside the biscuit. One bite and it was over. Crunch outside + smooth chocolate inside = no self-control.
One of those snacks where you say “last one” and finish the whole box. ⭐ Rating: 9 – 9.5/10 Top tier snack.
🥥 Crispy Coconut Rolls — Winner Energy. The smell itself was so good when we opened it.
Very crunchy. Very coconut-y. Very “just one more piece”.
If you like coconut, this is risky because you will finish the packet fast. No surprise — coconut snacks from Thailand are always a hit. ⭐ Rating: 8.5 – 9.5/10 Clear favorite.
Pineapple KitKat — Big Risk, Big Regret 😂We saw pineapple flavored KitKat and thought — why not try? Too pineapple. Chocolate didn’t match. Very artificial taste. One bite and instant regret. ⭐ Rating: 3 – 5/10 Would not recommend. (This is why we always taste snacks first before recommending anything!)
🍓 Lychee Jelly Candy — Cute But Texture Thing. These were shaped like tiny bottles — super cute. Taste was fruity and reminded us of those jelly cups from school birthday parties.
But jelly texture is personal. One loved it. One was like… meh. ⭐ Rating: 7/10 & 9/10. If you enjoy chewy candy, you’ll probably like this one.
🍵 Matcha Cookies — For Hardcore Matcha Lovers Only. Very strong matcha flavor. Little powdery also. If you’re crazy about matcha — you might enjoy it. Otherwise it’s too much.⭐ Rating: 6/10 Not bad, just intense.
🥜 Crunchy Sugar-Coated Peanuts — Surprisingly Nice. Didn’t expect much but these were actually really good. Super crunchy with sweet coating and sesame flavor. Even someone who’s not big on peanuts liked it. ⭐ Rating: 8 – 8.5/10. Would be amazing if they had spicy versions too.
🌽 Thai Corn Cheese Snack — OBVIOUS WINNER. This one is legendary. Light, crispy, cheesy — once you start you can’t stop. This is one of those snacks we always recommend to first-time Thai snack lovers. ⭐ Rating: 10/10 (honestly 11/10) Absolute must-try.
