Longan sticky rice in coconut milk | DIY snacks

After a great meal then it's time for a great Thai Snack Online dessert that you can easily make by yourself with sticky rice, juicy longan and your favorite coconut milk .. yum! Enjoy the aroma like a mixed of jasmine flower and a coconut juice. Here's the recipe you need :)



Ingredients

  • Raw sticky rice 2 cups

  • Fresh longan 4 cups

  • Coconut meat 2 cups

  • Coconut juice 4 cups

  • Coconut milk 1 cup

  • Syrup 3 tablespoons (can be any of your favorite color/flavor)

  • Sugar 0.5 cup

  • Salt 1 teaspoon



Cooking steps

  1. Soak 2 cups of raw sticky rice in a water for over a night.

  2. Heat up the coconut juice in a pot until they start boiling. Add soaked sticky rice in a pot while consistently stirring them to mixed with the boiling coconut juice.

  3. Add sugar, syrup, longan, coconut meat and continue stirring/boiling until they're blended. Turn off the heat then hold this main pot for later.

  4. Heat up coconut milk in a separated new pot with the salt then stirring until they're well mixed. Turn off the heat then hold this topping pot for later.

  5. Put the longan sticky rice from your main pot into a bowl then finish it with the boiled coconut milk from the topping pot. Boom! your favorite Thai Snack Online dessert is now ready to be served!
